BuyBoard
The Buyboard is a customized electronic purchasing system for all government entities developed by the Local Government Purchasing Cooperative and administered by the Texas Association of School Boards. The cooperative uses Internet-based technologies to create a single source for product and awarded contract information. Ramtech was the first modular building company to be awarded a contract from the Buyboard and we continue to offer the most comprehensive number of traditional and permanent modular facilities available through it. Ramtech Building Systems is the only approved vendor to offer Slab-On-Grade Permanent Modular buildings through BuyBoard.
The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS)
The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) is sponsored by the Region VIII Education Service Center (ESC8) located in Mt. Pleasant , Texas. TIPS is a free contract that is open to all Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties and other government entities. Vendors certified by TIPS are granted contracts which have been competitively awarded in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and have agreed to provide the best pricing, terms and conditions available to similar customers. Ramtech has been awarded competitively bid contracts for modular buildings and classrooms every year since 2004.
Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGACBuy)
HGACBuy is a Government-to-Government procurement service available nationwide. Governmental entities have been procuring products and services through HGACBuy for over 30 years. As a unit of local government assisting other local governments, HGACBuy strives to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services. All units of local government, including non-profits providing governmental services are eligible to join HGACBuy. Ramtech has been awarded competitively bid contracts for modular buildings through the HGACBuy program since 2005.
Texas Region VII Education Service Center
Since 1967, the Region VII Education Service Center has been serving public school districts along the northeast section of Texas from their offices in Kilgore, TX. As one of 20 regional cooperatives in the State, Region VII works closely with the Texas Education Agency and school districts to provide educators with the latest technology tools and the ability to minimize procurement costs through cooperative purchasing agreements. Ramtech’s Portable Modular Classroom Buildings have been available for purchase and lease through Region VII since 1999.
